Monosem is based in France and manufactures planters that can be modified and upgraded with Exapta equipment. Monosem joined Deere & Company in 2016. Their planters have opener blades that are too thick and the gauge wheel is too far forward in relation to those opener blades.
The original equipment manufacturer closing wheels on these planters have trouble shattering the sidewall and they can overpack the furrow. The spoked Thompson closing wheels are excellent at shattering the sidewall—and they do not overpack the seed, which can be dangerous for your crops.
Our Thompson closing wheels are compatible with these Monosem planters:
The structured soils in no till farming require an in-furrow firming with a device like the Keeton seed firmer. If you are struggling to get good stands in no till, inadequate seed firming may be the problem. The Keetons have a tendency to lose their tension quickly and only apply a few pounds of pressure, which may not be enough. Our Mojo wire stiffener adds 3 – 5 times more pressure to the Keeton and Flo-Rite seed firmers.
The Mojo wire stiffeners can be used with the following Monosem planters:
• Monosem NG Plus 4 Planters
• Monosem MONOSHOX NG PLUS M Planters
• Monsem Twin-Row Planters
We designed the Valion seed tube guards to outlast any other seed tube guard on the market. Our Valion guards help to form a true “V” trench, allowing seeds to fall into the bottom of the furrow, where they belong, giving you consistent seed depth.
The Valion Seed Tube Guards are compatible with these Monosem planters:
• Monosem NG Plus 4 Planters
• Monosem MONOSHOX NG PLUS M Planters
• Monsem Twin-Row Planters
